Campuses & Outdoor Education Center
The International School of Zug and Luzern (ISZL) is an international, non-profit day school serving the international community of central Switzerland providing comprehensive education from Pre-School through to university preparation, from ages 3-18. ISZL was created in 2008 as a result of the merger of the International School of Zug (founded 1961), The Riverside School (founded 1990), and The International School of Luzern (founded 2006) to offer one educational experience of global citizenship across three campuses.
As an IB World School, ISZL is authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organisation to offer the Primary Years (PYP), Middle Years (MYP) and Diploma Programme (IB) programmes. In addition, students in Grades 11 and 12 have the option of taking Advanced Placement (AP) courses and exams. All Advanced Placement courses are audited by the College Board.
ISZL operates on three age specific campuses in the Cantons of Zug and Luzern.

Chalet Bergheim has numerous generously sized en-suite rooms, a lounge, a multi-purpose classroom, lecture theatre and dining area. With spectacular mountain ranges, 213 kilometers of prepared ski slopes, hiking trails, waterfalls, glaciers and the Lauterbrunnen gorge all in close proximity, Chalet Bergheim offers our students endless opportunities for class trips, winter sports, exploration and outdoor learning.
