Working at ISZL
With a faculty and administrative team of over 150, coming from over 15 countries, ISZL offers a comprehensive education to over 1000 students aged 3-18 from more than 50 countries in a stimulating and exciting environment. ISZL offers the International Baccalaureate PYP, MYP, and Diploma programmes as well as the Advanced Placement Programmes of the US College Board.
ISZL came together as one new school in 2008 following the merger of the International School of Zug (founded in 1961), the International School of Luzern (founded in 2006) and the Riverside School (founded in 1990). The school is located on three wonderful campuses in Baar, Zug and Luzern in Central Switzerland, near Zurich. It is a non-profit, independent day school offering all levels of the International Baccalaureate (IB).
Teaching and administrative staff are encouraged to attend or organise professional development on a regular basis, and there is a substantial budget available to support this. Each Campus Head organizes the professional development for his staff.
The majority of new staff are recruited internationally through recruitment fairs organised primarily by Search Associates or Council of International Schools (CIS), or through advertisements in the Times Educational Supplement (TES). This year ISZL will be attending recruitment fairs in Bangkok, London, and the United States.
Due to the high degree of interest in teaching at ISZL, applicants are encouraged not to send speculative CVs, but rather to apply through one of the organisations mentioned above. However, some specific posts and positions might be posted on the web.
Please note that ISZL will not respond to unsolicited job applications.
