How to Support ISZL
As we are registered as a non-profit organisation in Switzerland and USA, there are many ways to support ISZL in a variety of capacities. There are a variety of ways for you to get involved, give back, serve and become an example for future generations:
- Attend community events
- Volunteer with the Sports Booster Club or Parents Association
- Donate to the Fund for Excellence
- Purchase ISZL-themed spirit wear
- Participate in our annual fundraising events: the ISZL Gala and Golf Tournament
- Encourage students to make a difference
- If you’ve ever been a part of the ISZL community, you're also part of the alumni community
The International School of Zug and Luzern is a non-profit foundation (Stiftung), a legal entity under the Swiss Civil Code. Its operation is overseen by the Canton of Zug's foundation supervisory council (Stiftungsrataufsicht) with ISZL being administered with its approval.
As a Swiss non-profit school, donations to the school are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law for Swiss taxpayers.
The Friends of ISZL, Inc. is a US non-profit organisation, tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code and is governed by an independent board of directors. Gifts to the Friends of ISZL, Inc. are deductible to the extent allowed by law.
In accordance with Swiss Law, the foundation operates a non-profit, non-religious sectarian, politically neutral school open to both sexes and all nationalities.
ISZL is governed by a self-perpetuating Board of Trustees. The Board is responsible for the financial welfare of the school as well as its strategic plan. The School Director reports to the Board and is responsible for all administration.
