Welcome to the beautiful Luzern Campus of ISZL where we offer each child an exemplary comprehensive education by enthusiastic and passionate professionals in a first class setting.

Our campus comprises of over sixty students (Pre-School to Grade 5) who come from a vast array of countries all around our globe.  We are dedicated to helping children reach their highest level of success as global citizens of the world.  We offer a challenging, inquiry based curriculum with both a local and international perspective in a safe, caring and fantasticly beautiful environment.  Through our small, family like instructional setting we empower all students to develop their individual talents and to be critical thinkers, reflective learners striving always to be a positive influence in the world.  All members of our vibrant staff are well respected for their high level of dedication to our students.  Choosen for their hearts for children and their in-depth curricular knowledge, our staff are quick to attend to individual needs, are flexible in finding positive solutions to those needs, and genuinely believe that parent involvement is essential.

Our units of study are rooted in the Primary Years Programme (PYP) which makes conections between previous learning and current learning while deepening understanding through the application of a concept.  This constructivist approach allows, promotes, and supports students to be actively involved in their learning.  Our campus, located in the Villa Kramerstein in Kastanienbaum (ten minutes from Luzern and easily accessible by public transportation) envigorates children to constantly be involved with hands-on/minds-on activities.  The villa is set in a lakeside park and we use the former coach house and the chalet for classrooms.  Our site as wonderful as it is, is supported by the use of a local elementary gymnasium and public pool.

The ISZL Luzern Campus is a multicultural haven rich in the arts and athletics.  An active after-school program, extensive musical opportunities, and many dramatic experiences await our students every year.  Our standards are very high for our students. Our students thrive on these elevated expectations and opportunities.  The Luzern Campus is an ideal place to develop the whole child  - come visit us and watch how these small footsteps become giant strides every day.
