Curriculum
The International School of Zug and Luzern follows the Primary Years Programme (PYP) of the International Baccalaureate (IB).
The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) is one of three world-renowned IB curricula, currently offered to over half a million students worldwide.
The PYP has been specifically developed by and for schools around the globe for students aged 3-12 years of age.
The PYP draws on research and best practices from a range of national systems and the rich experiences of international schools to create a relevant, engaging, challenging and significant educational framework for all children.
The curriculum framework is made up of five essential elements: concepts, knowledge, skills, attitudes and action. Together these elements build the traits of the IB learner profile.
