The reopening of school after the February holiday is a sign that the summer months will rapidly be upon us, so it’s a good time to give an update and reminder about the range of summer holiday camps that will be available for our students this summer.
Before mentioning the summer camps, however, I’d like to give a quick mention to the very successful ski & snowboard holiday camp that has just taken place in the February holiday. About forty ISZL students spent the week based at our Outdoor Education Centre in Wengen, Chalet Bergheim, accompanied by four of our teachers: Ms Hamilton and Ms Valissik from Zug Campus, along with Mr Tewsley and Mr Huber from Riverside Campus. The students had a fabulous time and I’d like to mention a big thank you to the teachers for their excellent organisation and hard work.
So, our attention now turns to the summer holiday as the next ISZL holiday camps are scheduled for then. There is a wide range of interesting and exciting holiday camps, closely following the themes of last summer’s camps. Most of the outdoor activities type camps will take place in the first week of the holiday, 24-28 June. The second week of holiday camps is towards the end of the summer holiday, in the week 5-9 August. The Imagination Camps are for children entering Kindergarten up to Grade 6, involving drama, music, art and craft activities. Two Imagination Camps will operate: one for the younger children and one for the older children in the age range.

For detailed information on each holiday activity camp and to register please visit the section in the Parent Portal of the ISZL website (login required).
We hope that these holiday camps will be of interest to those families in our community that remain here in Switzerland in the summer months. If you are interested, please register as soon as possible because numbers are limited on all of our camps.
