ISZL Students Hosting Online Events with Leading Changemakers
ISZL Advancement

A group of globally engaged High School students at the International School of Zug and Luzern (ISZL) attended the World Economic Forum's Open Forum Davos event in January 2017.  Their transformative experience inspired them to organise an event in the same spirit, with the aim of giving youth a voice in global issues in Central Switzerland. Now each year, ISZL hosts Youth Forum Switzerland (YFS), an event by students, for students.

This year's YFS team invites you to join our In Conversation With... series of online events that are taking place on Monday afternoons and Tuesday evenings throughout May 2020. The series is designed to help you beat the boredom of lockdown and stay in touch with some of the leading changemakers who have attended our recent events.

Sessions take place on Zoom are hosted by student members of the YFS team. All members of the ISZL community are welcome and each session offers you the chance to interact with the speakers and ask questions.

Please join our students for:

  • Monday 18 May 15:00 CET | 'Peace Building and Education during the New Weird' with Scott Weber - President of Interpeace
  • Tuesday 19 May 18:30 CET | 'Investigative Journalism for a New Reality' with Rosie Garthwaite - BBC Producer/filmmaker/author and former officer in the British Army
