It was wonderful to see our students return to campus this August, with a full range of face-to-face celebrations for the first time in two years.

High School students welcomed their new principal, Linsey Lawrence, who joins us from the United World College of South East Asia in Singapore.

In all, ISZL welcomed 192 new students at the start of term, with more arriving in the coming weeks. Overall, our total enrolment this year is 1215 students from more than 60 nationalities.

ISZL prides itself on a warm welcome, and on Friday the threatened rain held off, meaning our Sausage Sizzle was all we had hoped for, with students playing while their parents chatted.

Eating grilled sausages is a surprisingly integral part of life here in Switzerland, and the afternoon was a great success. In keeping with the tradition of this start of year event, our director, Barry Dequanne, was on hand to serve food to families.

We wish all our families the best possible start to the school year, and look forward to seeing you soon.
