Getting Involved

Join in the fun!

ISZL prides itself on its strong community spirit and family feel. Numerous positive, community-building events and activities occur regularly on our campuses and add to the social atmosphere of our school. Our teachers and community members are passionate about education, giving back and showing up to help. At ISZL, we not only engage students to become active citizens of the world, but we provide opportunities for the whole family to connect. Community events and activities that provide opportunities to explore and engage with the greater Zug and Luzern communities and become involved in many activities occur frequently.

ISZL hosts a number of community events, from small to large, that bring parents together to celebrate the community and highlight the successes of our individual and collective efforts. Here are a few notable annual events that parents are sure not to miss:

BACK TO SCHOOL BBQS

What a wonderful way to welcome our community back to school at the beginning of the new school year. A perfect opportunity to reconnect with old friends and to make new ones over shared stories of summer adventures and new beginnings.

THANKSGIVING

A feast each autumn to celebrate our international community focused around the North American Thanksgiving holiday. In addition to a fabulous turkey supper, there are activities for the whole family including face painting, crafts and making of the “Guys” to commemorate Guy Fawkes Day – a holiday popular among our British families. The evening concludes with a bonfire and fireworks.

INTERNATIONAL DAY

A day each spring for the entire family, International Day showcases the entertainment, traditions and culinary magic of the many cultures that make up our ISZL family. Food for all, fun for all – International Day includes dozens of events, rides and activities to bring together the community and to showcase the multicultural flair that makes ISZL so special.
