Counselling

School Counselling at ISZL

At ISZL, we believe that every student deserves a supportive environment where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our school counselling team plays a crucial role in fostering this environment through providing personalised and preventative support for students at every stage of their educational journey. Counsellors provide wholeschool programming, facilitate classroom lessons, provide small groups and short-term individual student sessions.

Our Counsellors are trained mental health professionals who help students navigate challenges, set goals and experience success. They offer a safe and confidential space for students to share their experiences, explore possibilities, and develop resilience. ISZL Counsellors collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to create a holistic support system that addresses the diverse needs of our student body. They have an instrumental role in strengthening our PSHE programme and utilise their training to provide recommendations, strategies and guidance to our teachers.

At our school, we understand that a strong support system is the foundation of student success. ISZL Counsellors work preventatively to ensure that all students feel supported and cared for. We are committed to helping every student succeed, both in and out of the classroom.
