Join in the fun!
ISZL hosts a number of community events, from small to large, that bring parents together. In recent years, ISZL and our vibrant Parents' Association have worked together and separately to ensure the welcome we give new families is every bit as personal. We have moved online where necessary, but also work hard to continue our signature annual social events:
BACK TO SCHOOL BBQS
These events are a wonderful way to welcome our community back to school at the beginning of the new school year. Making the most of the beautiful late-summer weather, we embrace the Swiss outdoor grilling tradition and provide a perfect opportunity to reconnect with old friends and to make new ones.
THANKSGIVING
This feast, traditionally held each autumn, celebrates our international community. It is focused around the North American Thanksgiving holiday. In addition to a fabulous turkey supper, there are activities for the whole family including face painting and crafts. The evening concludes with a bonfire and fireworks. While Covid means a large indoor gathering has not been possible since 2019, each year we find ways of reinventing this tradition, and hope to meet together for turkey, wine and friendship again soon.
INTERNATIONAL DAY
A day each spring for the entire family, International Day showcases the entertainment, traditions and culinary magic of the many cultures that make up our ISZL family. Food for all, fun for all – International Day includes dozens of events, rides and activities to bring together the community and to showcase the multicultural flair that makes ISZL so special.
