Applying to ISZL
- Application Deadline: We accept students year-round to accommodate international families. However, applying early (by February) is recommended for an August start, as many grade levels fill up and may have waiting lists.
- Start Date: Your child can join ISZL at any time during the year, depending on space availability. We recommend starting at the beginning of a term.
- Programmes Offered: ISZL offers three International Baccalaureate® (IB) programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programmes, providing a cohesive education for ages 3 to 18.
- Sibling Discounts/Financial Aid: We do not offer sibling discounts, financial aid, or scholarships.
- Entrance Exam: No formal entrance exam is required, but students entering mid-year from Grade 7 and above may need to take an English language assessment.
- Application Fee: There is no cost to apply to ISZL.
- KITA Pauschale: Early Years (EY) families registered in the Canton of Zug may be eligible for the cantonal childcare allowance. ISZL is recognised for the new Kantonspauschale Kinderbetreuung. Under this programme, the canton will contribute approximately 33% of the average childcare costs for eligible children.
- Non-profit foundation: We are proud to operate as a non-profit foundation (gemeinnützige Stiftung). This ensures every franc of our operating surplus is reinvested directly into our school to support our mission and students.
