What truly sets ISZL apart is the strength of our community — and at the heart of that is our active Parents’ Association.
With over 300 volunteers, this dedicated group plays a vital role in shaping the ISZL experience for students, families, and staff alike. From organising events and welcoming new families to supporting school initiatives, the Parents’ Association brings our community together in meaningful ways. Their energy and generosity are what make ISZL feel like home — and unlike any other international school in the region.

Building Community Spirit
At ISZL, every parent is welcomed as part of the Parents’ Association (PA), whether you’re new or have been with us for years.
We understand that moving to a new country or unfamiliar environment can feel overwhelming at times, which is why our PA is here to support your family, help you settle in, create connections, and help your family feel at home.
From social events and cultural celebrations to informal coffee mornings and practical advice, the PA plays a key role in helping you build friendships and find your place within our community.
There are many ways to get involved
- Attend Parents’ Association meetings, conferences, and special events
- Volunteer at events or serve as a Class/Grade Representative
- Join the Parents’ Association Executive Committee to help shape decisions
- Share your ideas, ask questions, or give feedback to help us improve

Connect with ISZL Families in Your Area
Our Neighbourhood Networks, based on the top 10 postcodes for ISZL families, help you connect with local parents. Through these networks, you can:

- Carpool and share local tips

PA Class and Grade Representatives
Our dedicated volunteers work closely with teachers and the PA to strengthen community bonds.
Class and Grade Representatives act as a bridge between parents and the school, helping to organise events throughout the year.
- In Primary School (Early Years–Grade 5), each class has a representative
- In Middle and High School, each grade level has a representative
