IB Diploma Programme
INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE SWITZERLAND - YOUR GUIDE TO THE IB DIPLOMA PROGRAMME
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. It encourages students to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
The IBDP at ISZL, an international school in Switzerland, provides a challenging, internationally focused, broad and balanced educational experience. The programme is designed to equip students with the academic skills needed for university study, further education and their chosen profession. Additionally, the programme supports the development of the values and life skills needed to live a fulfilled and purposeful life through the development and application of knowledge in the real-life contexts of the core (theory of knowledge, extended essay and creativity, activity, service).
As an International Baccalaureate school in Switzerland, we are accredited by the Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
