Our after-school Activities Programme enhances middle school student learning and personal development.
We offer ISZL Middle School Students a broad and diverse range of opportunities to:
- Learn new skills or enhance existing skills and interests
- Work with students from other classes and grades to make new friends
- Learn about the importance of commitment and become more resilient
- Develop creativity, independence, communication, and leadership skills through a variety of visual and performing arts, academic enrichment and service learning activities
- Develop an understanding and appreciation of living a balanced, healthy lifestyle
- Step out of their comfort zone and pursue a passion
Extensive Choice Throughout the Year
The school year is organised in three seasons giving the students the opportunity to try different activities throughout the academic year. Some activities, like instrumental orchestras and choirs, continue all year long.
We offer three categories of activities to cover a range of over 30 different clubs for middle school students:
- Visual and Performing Arts: Anime, drama, nail art, guitar band, manga art, photography, theatre production, wind band, strings ensemble, jewellery, and open art studio.
- Recreational Sports: Swimming, running, climbing, badminton, fencing, bouldering, yoga, zumba, trampolining, Thai-boxing, American Flag Football, advanced manufacturing, coding, public speaking, and debate.
- Academic Enrichment and Student Leadership: Geography, E-sports, VEX Robotics, Dungeons and Dragons, German, creative thinking, coding for Primary School students, MS Eagles News Ed, and Tech Crew.
We also offer a full Competitive Sports Programme.
Schedule and Location
Middle School activities take place from 15:30–16:45 at the Zug campus. Some sports activities, such as swimming, basketball, bouldering, and trampolining, take place off campus, and we provide free transportation to all external facilities.
