Home About Us Our Campuses New Middle School Building

The Future of Learning

Our New Middle School

We believe in creating learning environments that reflect the world our students are growing into — connected, creative, and full of opportunity.

To support our students now and in the future, we’re investing in something special: a purpose-built Middle School that will become a hub of learning, connection and growth for students aged 11 to 14.

This space will be designed with curiosity, creativity and care in mind — where young people can learn with confidence, explore new ideas, and feel connected to the people and place around them.

Bringing Grades 6–10 Together on One Campus

The new Middle School will bring all students in the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) — Grades 6 to 10 — onto one campus. While the Middle and High School will continue to have their own identity, they’ll share world-class facilities including a purpose-built assembly and performance space, and a modern library and media hub. This creates more opportunities for learning, collaboration and connection across year groups.

A Place to Learn and Belong

The new Middle School will be located on our Riverside Campus in Hünenberg, and easy to reach from all directions. It’s designed to feel open, welcoming and connected — with spaces that encourage students to collaborate, share ideas and feel part of a supportive community.

Designed for Today’s Learners

Education is changing — and so are the spaces where it happens. This building will reflect what we know about how students learn best: through real-world experiences, through working together, and through discovering their own strengths. It will be flexible, forward-thinking, and built to support student well-being.

Multipurpose Spaces for Creative Learning

Inspired by the Best in Modern Education

Spaces that Adapt to Learning

Every classroom will include moveable furniture, writable surfaces, and built-in charging stations. Whether students are working independently, in small groups or as a class, they’ll be able to shape the space around them.

Technology That Supports Learning

All classrooms will include the latest tools, like interactive whiteboards and projectors, to support engaging and collaborative learning.

Creative, Multipurpose Spaces

Our shared spaces can be transformed — from a quiet reading area to a workshop or group project zone — so students can learn in ways that work for them.

Bright and Healthy Learning Environments

Natural light, fresh air and good ventilation help students feel energised and focused throughout the day.

Areas for Connection and Collaboration

We’re creating dedicated zones where students can come together, share ideas, and solve problems in new ways — with comfortable seating, digital tools and plenty of space to think.

Outdoor Learning and Play

The outdoors will be part of everyday learning. With space to move, explore and connect with nature, students will benefit both in the classroom and beyond.

Built with Sustainability in Mind

From energy-efficient lighting to green spaces and rainwater collection, this building reflects our commitment to sustainability and care for the planet.
